Test Prints - Image, Color, and Paper Evaluation

The best and most affordable way to get to know Finao is to order test prints. See how crisp and true-to-life our prints are, and know that your albums will be the same.

These prints are representative of our Finao in-house lab products and can be used to evaluate any of our flush mount or print and assembly options. Compare to your monitor's calibration to be sure your products will be how you envision them.

Test prints also provide the opportunity to try different paper types before you buy. We print on a selection of professional photographic and fine-art papers from industry-leading companies like Fuji, Hahnemühle, and Moab. Upload images for your test-print order today.

Pricing for our 8x10" test prints is $1 each for photographic papers and $2 each for fine-art papers.

Guidelines for test prints:

  • Images must be sized 8x10" at 300 PPI
  • No other image sizes will be accepted
  • Prints on photographic papers must be color corrected in sRGB
  • Prints on fine-art papers for inkjet printing must be color corrected but can be in either the sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) color spaces.
  • There is a limit of four prints.
  • Orders containing more than four test prints or different sizes will not be processed.

This one small step can make all the difference for successful first-time products.

Turnaround times can vary depending on product type and time of year
*Due to moving our production to Michigan, we are experiencing longer than normal turnaround times

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic (340 gsm, 100% cotton, no optical brighteners). One of the most beautiful fine-art papers we have seen, it blends the characteristic surface structure and sumptuous feel of a 100% cotton rag baryta paper with the dynamic appearance of a metallic media. Light reflection from the silvery metallic finish is enhanced by the tooth of the paper texture, adding an almost three-dimensional appearance.
