Starter Kit - An Affordable Sales Tool Collection
Need to get up and going fast and on a budget? Finao starter kits have everything you need to begin offering our boutique albums to your clients, and at a great price. We pack a sleek album Tote with a complete swatch kit of all our cover materials and printing papers, samples of a 2-material accent cover, and either an ICE™ or Armour™ cover upgrade panel. Add an optional 12x12" or 10x15" ONE™ sample album with an image cutout for a sweet starter price.

Starting at $169, the kit includes:
- Example of a Tone Accent two-material front cover panel
- Choice of ICE™ or Armour™ image cover panel
- Finao swatch kits (includes leather and non-leather swatches, printing paper samples)
- Generously sized Album Tote
- Optional 12x12" or 10x15" starter album (extra cost). Each sample album offered with the kit includes a Finao ONE™ album with a single standard cover material, 10 leaves/20 page-sides (right start) with a cameo image cutout on the cover.
To add a 12x12" ONE™ album with a 4x4" cameo image you will need:
- First page 12x12"
- Nine 24x12" spreads
- Last page 12x12"
- 4x4" cover image
- All files must be 300 PPI .jpg in sRGB color space.
To add a 15x10" ONE™ album with a 4x5" cameo image you will need:
- First page 15x10"
- Nine 30x10" spreads
- Last page 15x10"
- 4x5" vertical cover image
- All files must be 300 PPI .jpg in sRGB color space.
What if I want more pages or options? ONE™ series albums are always 40% off to you as studio samples. You can order a fully custom sample by visiting the ONE™ or nextONE™ order forms and choosing the "Sample" option. Before you checkout you can add the additional items from the Starter Kit to complete your bundle.

Cover Materials
Sometimes less is more. If your client wants a simple cover we can do that. Finao has a cover material to suit any subject or specialty—we serve one of the most diverse groups of photographers in the industry. Weddings or seniors, babies or boudoir each need a distinct presentation.If you take pride in offering personalized service and a boutique experience you will love the ability to honor the style and taste of each client.
Complement your images from our collection of genuine and vegan leathers, velvets, linens, silks, and more. Or add an accent stripe or two for subtle coordination or eye-catching contrast. Our wood veneers create richly textured cover panels, and handmade papers complete your album as unique front and back cover lining.
In the order form, select from our current swatches and recently discontinued, or While Supplies Last, selections. If you have a favorite material from our past or are looking for something unique or specific, contact info@finao.com. We'll check our collection of materials—there are more than we can display.
A CAUTION: It is nearly impossible to see the true character of these materials online. Colors can vary greatly depending on your screen calibration. We recommend purchasing a swatch kit for use in conjunction with these online or downloaded swatches. Your client will appreciate knowing exactly what to expect in their finished product.

ICE™ Acrylic
When your clients see our ICE™ cover panel you will understand why it's our most popular cover upgrade. Sell boxes and albums that will always be on display. The ICE™ cover panel boasts superior quality through flawless 1/4" acrylic with beautifully finished, smooth beveled edges. The stunningly natural color and crisp detail of the bonded metallic print make the most of your best images.
Armour™ Metal
You will love Armour™ as a cover panel for your sample ONE™ album. Armour™ combines durability with a matte, art-paper like depth and richness. This metallic print emulsion bonded to thick, brushed aluminum will provide lifetime style and beauty. This upgrade will sell!
Your Starter Kit includes a sample cover panel to show your clients the beauty of an accent stripe. Or add a 4x4" or 4x5" cameo image to your optional ONE™ cover and let your clients dream of their future album. Size the image files for cover cut-outs 1/4" inch larger than listed as we tuck the image under the cover surface. Size image files for indentations exactly as listed.
Finao offers several distinct spine & cover combinations to compliment your sample album design. For your slipcase choose from Signature, Modern, or Vintage styles.
Signature Spine
Our original Signature style has a flat, square spine with hubs. The cover and thick page block have rounded corners. Optional medium weight pages. Compatible with all specialty covers.
Modern Spine
The Starter Kit™ Modern style option has a square, flat-profile spine that is smooth, with no hubs, and paired with square cover and page corners. This style is compatible with all specialty cover upgrades.
Vintage Spine
The Starter Kit™ Vintage style has a round spine with hubs, with matching rounded cover and page corners. This style will support oversized albums but is not compatible with specialty cover upgrades.
Prints & Papers
Print your first sample album in our customer favorite Fuji Lustre paper.
Finao offers a range of print media from the world's leading producers. The optional ONE(TM) album available with your Starter Kit™ is printed on the beautiful Fuji Crystal Archive Lustre paper.
Design
Album design is often a love it or hate it job. If you don't have the time, experience, or interest let us do it for you. Choose from six design styles, upload your images, and we'll do the work. $100 flat rate for up to three online revisions by our US-based, experienced designer. Check out her sample styles! Quotes for custom design are available.
