Tribeca™ Lid Options

All Finao matted image boxes present your enlargements as a mounted collection for viewing and preservation. Choose from our distinct box styles, covering materials, and box lid customizations to design the portrait display your client has in mind.

All Tribeca™ lids begin with dual-layer clear acrylic bonded by silvertone corner studs. The bottom, inset layer fits the lid to the box and provides placement for an optional print.

Clear Acrylic:

When displayed vertically on a shelf or mantle, a clear acrylic lid transforms a box into a space-saving wall-art alternative that is perfect for smaller spaces. Clients will enjoy the versatility of rotating their images for a fresh look and can update photos each year as your best repeat customer. Tribeca's™ standard clear lid is a client pleaser for newborns, school years, or growing families.

Laser-etched Acrylic:

Incorporate laser etching at it's best by creating a full lid design; you can even integrate custom text in any font. Create a .jpg file from our template and we will laser-etch your lid panel in translucent white, an effect similar to etched glass. Designs possibilities range from delicate 3D framing of the underlying image to light but full coverage that presents boudoir images modestly while hinting at the images underneath. Laser-etched acrylic is currently an option for our Tribeca™ box lid.

Floating Deckled Print:

For boxes designed with a dual-layer lid, like our Tribeca™, we can float a print between the layers, enhancing visual depth. For Tribeca™, we print your lid image on Hahnemühle German etching fine art paper and accent it with hand-torn deckled edges. The print permanently floats between the acrylic lid layers.
